Lighting in hospital spaces plays a crucial role in the well-being of patients and visitors and in the efficiency of healthcare professionals. At the Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira in Guimarães, LEUK developed a customised lighting project that provides comfort and quality in all areas.
In the common areas, LINEAS Recessed Without Flap were installed, creating discreet and uniform lighting that contributes to a welcoming atmosphere. This approach ensures that circulation areas are well lit, promoting comfort and safety for patients and visitors. For more restricted rooms, where healthcare professionals require high concentration and precision, we opted for the Recessed Panel. These luminaires offer targeted and uniform lighting, essential for the proper performance of medical and surgical tasks. Furthermore, energy efficiency was a key factor in this project. LEUK prioritised solutions that reduce energy consumption while maintaining lighting quality and ensuring adequate lighting in all situations.
The result is an intelligently lit hospital environment that provides comfort and well-being for patients, peace of mind for visitors, and ideal working conditions for healthcare professionals.
